I want a maid. And a lobotomy.

I folded about 75 loads of laundry this morning/afternoon. It was sitting in tubs waiting to be transported up the stairs by DP.
While doing dishes, and on the phone with my inept OB's office - my spirited 27m ds emptied both bins (somehow without me hearing,) and then threw the clothes around.

My IL's got him a really neat piggy bank, with about 14lbs of pennies in a bin - and ds dumped the pennies onto our hardwood floors a moment ago. Which then drew my attention to the clothing.

And and and - he managed to smush crackers ontop of the clothing.

Fine. Fine. Messes get cleaned up. Thats all fine and dandy.
But my DP will be home from work in an hour, and he's been really stressed recently with the office - and to come home to the house in a worse state than when he left it, blah.
I just want to ease his stresses (because that, in turn, eases mine.)

Take it easy on yourself. Make a bed out of the laundry pile and say it was planned.

I'm sorry but the title made me laugh.

I hope the rest of the day is a bit less stressful, and that laundry items are put away by the laundry gnomes.

Maybe I can make a nest out of the clothing - and have my litter there.

^ Yeah, laundry is a beast.
We lack good clothing storage, so we're constantly in a struggle to keep things put away and tidy.

Its my fault, I have far too much clothing I never wear/fit into/unwilling to throw away.

: I swept and mopped (hands and knees) our slate floor yesterday and dd managed to spill all her black beans everywhere and distribute them around so DH and I would step and and smash all of them before we realized what was happening. back to clean to floor Again.
