Does anyone know what this means? I want a doppler and am UP/UCing but I need to be authorized before bidding?!?! Any insite would be greatly welcomed!

eBay required disclaimer: The sale of this item may be subject to regulation by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and state and local regulatory agencies. If so, do not bid on this item unless you are an authorized purchaser. If the item is subject to FDA regulation, I will verify your status as an authorized purchaser of this item before shipping of the item."

No you dont need to be authorized - its just a generic listing for sellers who have alot of medical supplies listed. That way they are covered if someone wants to buy something regulated by the FDA. I've seen that several times when bidding and buying and havent had to send proof yet.

What junipersmom said... I had to come ask too because the disclaimer seemed so official.

I bought my doppler on eBay... a Huntleigh for less than 1/2 the retail price.

Thanks! I am going to get a sonotrax. I think that it will be good for my very light use. I would love a Huntleigh but I just can not spend twice as much when it is just for my use.

That makes sense. I started out with a Sonotrax but since I'm used to hearing the midwives' Huntleigh and Nicolet I ended up trading it in. I think if I hadn't had something to compare it to, I would have been happy with it.
