Do you get a shower everyday?

I don't. I'm lucky to get one 3x a week. Gross, right?!

I function much better on the days I shower. Gotta figure out a way to make it happen (and not at 1AM when everyone is sleeping!)

I think I've had a total of 4 showers and two sponge baths since I've gotten out of the hospital in the last 3 1/2 weeks. I want a good old fashioned tub soak with lots of bubbles, but I'm waiting for the doc's office to call back to see if I'm cleared incision-wise for that. I forgot to ask when I was in on Monday...

Probably 5 days out of 7 for me. Helps that my older two are old enough to understand and "let" me shower!!

I've been lucky enough to have a shower every day but one since I left the hospital - thank heaven for my DH taking 2 weeks off, my mom staying with us another 2 weeks, and my DH coming home for lunch so he can watch the baby while I shower. I don't know how people with more than one child get anything done; they truly have my admiration.

Well I haven't had a shower since I last went to the gym in June

but no I don't get a bath every day. And when I do it's with DD and usually lasts 5 min before I have to get out to deal with DS.

I would love a nice relaxing bath - maybe next month?

I do. I insist on it before DH leaves for work in the morning. But he's changed her diaper exactly once, never given either one of them a bath alone, and does not get up at night, so we all have our issues.... At least I demand a shower! I get moody quick and a shower makes a HUGE difference in my outlook.

nak

As soon as she drifts off to sleep after her morning meal I make a beeline to the shower!

Are we married to the same man?

YES! Every day since the birth. There are some days that I only have one good thing to report, and that is that I showered.

It's not easy and sometimes it doesn't happen until 3 PM. Sometimes it means sticking Dylan in front of the TV and just praying that Conrad doesn't melt down completely. But it's a commitment to myself that I am managing to keep.

I do! I have to or else my day can't start right. I put Isaac in his crib with some books after I've nursed the baby. Baby goes in the bouncy seat in the bathroom, so if he cries, I know he's okay. Then sometimes I have another one at night after everyone's in bed (depending on how much spit-up, urine or other baby fluids I have on me).

no...maybe 3x a week. It makes me feel so much better if I do. DH leaves too early for me to get up then, and I dont trust my 4 year old anywhere with nb - sometimes it works (well for a week) if H sat and listen/watched the water on the glass stall, but that doesnt work any more. sigh.

I do. I need it or else I can't function. But I have to get up at the crack of dawn to make it worth it, but it really does set my mood. Something about clean hair and some nice smelling soap really helps me!

Yup. All hail the vibrating bouncy seat. I think using it once a day for 15 minutes while I get a shower is not excessive.

every other day, and only when j is home to help out.

tried bringing asher w/ me in the shower the other day, in a sling--worked great! except, i had to wash my hair one-handed, which made it tricky.

I have had one every day, mainly because I stink from the fenugreek. I am so sick of reeking of maple syrup! I beeline in there too- as soon as DD is asleep I take a 3 minute shower and hope she does not have a meltdown. The infant crib is right outside the bathroom door so I can hear her loud and clear..
