Another Yay head down! thread

Hi ladies,
Well, this babe has been hanging out breech since week 31. We tried everything we possibly could have to get baby to turn. Today (37w3days)we went to a bigger city an hour away to get an ultrasound/try a medical version/ interview a dr. for a vaginal breech delivery. When the nurse put the ultrasound wand low on my belly, there was the babe's little head! I was soooo happy I burst into tears. I feel like a thousand pound weight has been lifted off of me.....now it's on to a homebirth for us!!!!

I'm so happy for you!!!!!!! I'm due January 08, too, and I was just lurking in here because my baby is still breech at 35 weeks. I'm planning a homebirth, but have to transfer out if baby's still breech at 37 weeks. I know what you mean about a big weight on you.

that is great news!

my babe is still flipping back and forth, so it makes me a bit nervous.. but she hangs out mostly head down and has been in perfect possition for birthing at every midwife appt .. 37 weeks is cutting it close though, so baby stay head down!
