Do you think these should have faces? If so what kind?I'm having a hard time deciding. If it makes any difference, there will also be a lil' doll that fits in the mamas belly pocket, made out of a patterned fabric.

I think I would do eyes at least. I'd probably use black embroidery thread, maybe make X's, since they have such a funky flavor.

Thanks!I was thinking they need eyes.I like the x's idea.

I think I'd do big x's on the one with the smaller pink face, and round eyes sewn on with the blanket stitch on the other.

Yes - faces would be excellent.

I adore their style and colors and vision them with a huge, maniacally happy smile and shifty eyes - both with felt. I like the X's idea too.

That's funny because I was trying to decide between those two styles. But I guess they don't have to have the same type of eyes.

Shifty eyes...that's cracking me up for some reason.I love the sound of it.And I'm so curious what "shifty eyes"would look like to you.

Thanks for the input!I love to hear it.

Those are really cute Rere. I agree that they need faces, at the least eyes. If it were me, i would stop there, but that's because I am new to all of this and get overwhelmed easily .

I think that the "shifty eyes" would be awesome . IMO, "shifty eyes" would be ones looking off to the side instead of dead on... any shape would do but I think that an almond shape eye would look best on them. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Thank you!

The shifty eyes are just cracking me up.I guess because the dolls are suppose to be me and my husband. And I was picturing "shifty eyes" looking out the sides too.

I get overwhelmed easily too,so we'll see what happens.

Ok,off to make more Christmas presents.Ahhh....
