I'm at 38 weeks, my MW thinks I'll go early, who knows...I'm super tired and it sure is getting hard to move around, but mentally I'm ok waiting. My EDD is Christmas and I would love, love, love to not give this kid a Christmas bday but really at this point what's the difference? I'm going to get back on the RRL tea tomorrow, I guess I'm one of those that don't mind the taste and I brew it strong...overnight actually. I've been trying to do some stuff around the house today but seem to have managed to do nothing. Although I had to run some errands this morning and it was a madhouse out there between holiday shopping and people grocery shopping for a big storm that so far has not materialized. I almost bagged the grocery store but we didn't have any bottled water and sometimes we lose power so didn't want to chance labor starting with no running water. Anyway, Shebears cheering up of me produced that much chattiness but not feeling chatty again so back to just reading. Really I just want to hibernate with some books, food, water, some baths and chocolate...ugh, maybe I'll go clean at least one thing before bed.

40w3d and still here. A little miffed since today was the day I had been visualizing giving birth for the past three months, but what are you gonna do? Our mw came for an appt today, all is well, but baby is posterior, so I'm in no rush for him/her to come until they are in a better position. My mw swears that babies come with the weather and since we're getting a snowstorm tonight, she thinks baby will come very soon.

Its not midnight yet! You may go into labor any time now!

I'm having a ton of contractions. Like always, they will probably turn into a big old NOTHING.

We went out for supper for Mexican food I had mine spicy and with pineapple juice, then headed to Target for a few last minute things then to get groceries. We got a lot and walking around I had a lot of pressure. I also got a pineapple to cut up. See if that does anything. I'm having some period like cramping but no contractions or anything....Man tomorrow we have nothing planned, it'd be a great day to have a baby or be babymooning....

39 + 2 days here. No more mucous, but more pubic bone pain. It feels like burning, but from pressure, not topical.

What I really want to know is... how many times am I supposed to get SICK this pregnancy!?! My scratchy throat is officially sore, glands are starting to swell, and I'm sure an ear infection is soon to follow. I've already had strep throat, an ear infection and bronchitis this pg... I can't believe there's MORE. I'm so f-ing over it and I wish my body would just fight back. I'm taking emergen-c, but I know I'm not eating well enough. Nothing appeals.

Sorry to rant. Really no signs of impending labor, so maybe I have time to get well first. Some people have mentioned that you won't go into labor if you're sick... well, I don't mean to be negative, but I went into the last one with an intestinal bug, my best friend delivered with a raging cold, and my cousin told me today that she had the stomach bug during labor with her second. All of this is just driving me crazy... sorry. I'll stop now.

38+5. Bloody tp/mucus this AM. No noticeable contractions though. Hoping for a false alarm...
