(And me too-not excluding myself from this)

Isnt this better than the first 3 months when we were all puking our guts up and so sick we couldn't even look at chicken?

Yes...Cause I can now eat a pound of cheese in one sitting.

I'll take that part of pregnancy over morning sickness ANY DAY!

Really, I don't know if the hip pain is worse compared to the morning sickness at this point. I feel like I need a walker and one of those life-alert buttons.

True true. But I still want to have my baby
post #4 of 23
Yes, totally. I was miserable this spring, but now? Just a smidge unwieldy. You're so right!
I dont know. I didnt really have much morning sickness just fatique and worry. At this point I too feel like I need a walker, I had to wake up my husband last night to get me out of bed.

I do have to say that I LOOOOOOVED being pregnant during my 2nd trimester. I was at my most comfortable, no sickness, no real aches or pains, and the great feeling of Baby's first flutterings. As for right now, things aren't that bad with the HUGE exception of being a member of the Broken Crotch Club. And at least if the pain gets too bad, I can always take an OTC pain reliever and go lay down and watch some DVDs, whereas back during the all-day-morning-sickness phase, I couldn't find ANYTHING that made me feel better.

whats up with this broken crotch stuff?

What happened to all of you?

My butt seems broken sometimes....but not my crotch!

Is the baby just sooooo low?

I'd rather be puking!

I just ate 5 popcicles in one sitting. There are 2 left. but they are grape-not my favorite.

Still-I see myself eating both of them, quite possibly in the next 20 minutes.

I ate the laast 5 in about 20 minutes.

They are the triangle shaped minute maid ones.

I was so NOT miserable in my first tri....never had a smidge of MS, felt great, felt fit and healthy....even ran (okay mostly speed-walked with a tiny bit of jogging ) a 5k!

So, no....this part of the journey is way worse for me. But I'm trying hard NOT to complain, because I figure I'm pretty much just paying my dues for having a great 1st and 2nd tri!

I just didn't expect the stomach virus/puking/diarrhea to be making it's way through the family at this point....and now I've got the beginnings of a cold starting, with sneezing (aka peeing myself) and coughing (also aka peeing myself) and not being able to breathe.

But complain? Me? Nah, not me!

Yeah, I feel waaaayyy worse than during the 1st tri. In fact, I'm pretty sure I'm in the worst pain I've ever been in during any of my 4 pregnancies. My pelvis & crotch are just DEAD. It's so frustrating. My dh (tmi alert) reached down & rubbed me over my pubic bone this morning & I nearly jumped out of my skin from the pain. After he left the room I laid there & cried. I SO want my body to function again.

Man I'm a big grumpy downer today. I'm sorry!

Actually, and with all love and respect, NO. Because although I had morning sickness like woah, there are pills and tea and herbs I can take for that and feel almost mostly normal. There does not appear to be a anti-broken crotch pill, or an anti-baby in the ribs pill, or an anti-get the hell off my kidneys, fetus, that HURTS! pill either.

*SIGH*

What an evil post.

I know you didn't mean it, transformed, but for those of us *lucky* ladies who get to have M/S throughout their ENTIRE pregnancy, this post is just cruel.

I WISH to hell it WAS a "trade-off". But it's NOT.

Hell, I wouldn't mind JUST the hip pain/back pain, general unpleasantness of these last couple weeks NEARLY as bad...IF that's ALL I had to deal with...but NO!
I'm still sick as hell, running to the bathroom in the mornings, desperately trying to keep myself well enough to be able to eat and not vomit 24/7.

I will say that the early morning lunge for the toilet is SO PAINFUL, so much more painful than in the first tri when at least you're still human-sized and normally-abled, when your whole body is screaming in protest, your hips don't work right, your back throbbing, your bladder squished and full, ..but you still have to run for it, or else just vomit all over your bed. eee-yuw.

Gee...I'm grumpy today, aren;t I?

I bet you don't have PSD, do you Jenny? I think you'd be complaining up an storm if you did! Anywho, I am going to complain my heart out, thankyouverymuch. Plus, I had NO morning sickness this pregnancy, so I would GLADLY trade this pubic pain for the beginning of pregnancy.
Eh I've been having the poops and nausea so I feel like Im in my 1st trimester only I have a huge belly :nana: plus add some hip pain and contractions that take my breath....bleh.

At least people can take one look at me and see why I'm so miserable. In the first tri I just looked like cr*p and nobody knew why.

No. I have been throwing up for nine months now. It has now been several hours since I last had dry heaves, so I guess I should be grateful for that. I cannot sleep because my hips hurt so horribly much and I can't lie on my back, my front, or either side. Walking is extremely painful. I now carry a barf bag everywhere I go. I walk like I'm 100 years old. I can't eat at a restaurant, and I have problems cooking in my own kitchen, because of the smell of cooking food or dirty dishes. If I let myself, I could simulatiously pee myself and throw up all over the couch RIGHT NOW. Instead, I'll hobble to the bathroom to pee and swallow the urge to barf again.
