She did-however I wouldn't compare us to her. She had her first early. I think she's one of those people who just deliver early.

I'm not checking. I don't want to be discouraged if nothing has happened yet, and I don't want to be discouraged if something HAS been happening but has slowed down. Past progress is no guarantee of future progress, so why bother setting myself up like that.

My original EDD was 12/23. Changed to 12/20 by u/s, but I don't honestly put much faith in that. Definitely still here, cervix way high. I'll probably be hanging out to keep the last of you company before this baby comes! Though I did find the looks on people's faces amusing today when Xmas shopping, as everyone seemed to ask the "when are you due?" question and man, do people look uncomfortable when you say "about a week or so!" They suddenly seem to want you out of their store....immediately. Like I'm a walking timebomb about to shoot this baby out at any second. Don't I wish!

I am still here...happy to wear baby on the inside for now. My mom will be in town on Monday and then maybe I will feel ready. I would like to be able to spend a few days with her before baby comes.
I just still have a pretty long to- do list and I am just getting over a cold. I want to feel better...I couldn't imagine not being able to smell my babys head.......it just wouldn't be natural..... Go away stuffy nose!

12/26 here...and still waiting. I'm really hoping for a baby this week!
I've got the bathrooms cleaned and the laundry done - it isn't going to get any cleaner...AND I'm tired of prenatal appointments!

I ate an entire pineapple last night...
achy hips this morning and otherwise nothing new.

I'm pretty sure I lost my mucous plug on Friday so I'm hoping I've got less than a week left. I know I should be happy she's holding on in there but man I'm uncomfortable.

Come out, baby, while Mama has the house clean!
