39+1 today. Zero signs of labor or that I'm getting anywhere close. I've left stuff to do this week so I'm not just sitting around bored and anxious.

Still with the broken crotch club though. Made it hard waddling through Whole Foods on a Sunday. I think I'm never going back there on a Sunday.

So back from the midwife. I have a yeast infection? I use a "?" because I have never had one in my life and AND I have no itching/burning sensations. Just a bit, uhm drippy but not discharge-y. Got a rx for it (one pill) and hopefully that should take care of it.

I had never had one either until one of my pregnancys....(Or I probably did have them, just not symptomatic)

I only get them during pregnancys...

My MW told me to get the monistat stuff for dp too-or we would keep passing it back and forth.

My husband was EXSTATIC that I put monistat all over him for like 5 nights.

I've been having contractions all day. My doula was here this morning-and left to let me take a nap. They have gotten stronger-and are now really hurting in my ribs and I feel like something has been kicking my vulva. DP just called her to come back.

I really hope this is it-otherwise labor is just one really cruel joke. If it is it-you won't hear from me for a couple of days because we will be going to the hospital and I know we will need to stay at least 24 hours.

Please send labor vibes-I would love to share some of these contractions with y'all!

The doula came out for a while and timed them with me....she can feel the whole contraction on my stomach but they're not that intense yet so I only feel the pain in my back. She expects me to be needing her sometime tonight, though. It's my due date AND my little-sister's half-birthday today so it would be awesome if he came today.

Ok. THis is how I feel.

Dh just spoke to his family on the phone for awhile. If that doesn't tell you why I am . Basically, they are coming down this weekend. They don't know we are having a hb or UCing. They think we're freaks for cloth diaperings and equate bf with child abuse. They've been begging me to induce for their convenience. So if I go into labor when they're here. Good gods. They will try to force me to the hospital and it will be a nightmare. So I am going to beg my chiro to help this baby out on Tuesday and do everything in my power to make it happen before Saturday. If she's not here by then, you can bet your bippy I'm sewing my legs closed!

Does it help that I was due ten days ago, and everybody is just assuming at this point that I'll have this kid in January?
