Church is having a baby shower today for us. They waited till hubby would be home! I am excited but also just wanting to stay home with my family, been so busy. As I lay here in bed, my hair in plastic bags, the tips are being made PINK again. LOL Yes, I am a 27 year old who makes her hair pink. My first surrogate baby told everyone her special mommy had pink hair and when she saw me I did not, that made her upset, so I started to pink my hair. I did not do that much this past year, no spirit for it, but people have been asking a lot and I did say I would when Hubby got home. So here I am. I swear my hair makes people at church smile, specially some of the elders. Still, there are a few unkind people at church watching. They want hubby and I to have issues, or for him to not be ok back in society, or for our odd parenting to blow up in our faces. I swear they would like nothing more then for Libby to come down with an illness we could have vaxed for. Mean mean people....
All this to say, I feel like I am on display and wonder if Hubby does too. Will not talk about it though as today is supposed to be a wonderful happy day spent with friends so I hope the mean ones do not show up! LOL I am not goig to get into debates today I swear it! Dang baby blues!
Gotta go put temp purple color in DDs hair as she gets spray in color when I do mine. LOL Could she not have picked red for the season?
Wish me luck ok! And lots of pink cloths! hehehehehe

) i don't think you are too old for it...27 seems sooo young to me now... (i'm 37 years young but look and act more like i'm 25) screw what those others think...they obviously want drama and aren't ok that you guys are 'ok'. they need good reminders that that is NOT WJWD.

The service was wonderful, about animal rights but from the perspective of a scientist who questioned what animals and what rights should they have. Should a clam who has no nervise system and thus does not suffer have the same rights as cat? Do we afford a horse the same rights as a horse fly? In short, he is all for animal rights but not to an extream. He has to put in 14 pages of paper work to test on mice, it goes through a board, he can be inspected at any time with no notice by persons with no science or biology background, and he can lose his job if they dislike what they see with no proof of harm. YET any of us could buy poison and kill a pest mouse in our own homes without much of society batting an eye lash... and here he is trying to cure cancer and such.... I see his point.
