is done! I thought I would never finish it I am sort of glad it was bad weather this weekend, so I could not run away from the pile of stuff I have to do

The pictures are in the "me" link. Warning; it is image heavy. I would love some feedback!!

Oh, it is just so perfect!
I love it. Your images and colors and just everything are lovely.
How kind of you, what a great aunt you are.

If I had a smidgen of your talent, I would try to make one for my little girl. Maybe someday.......

Great work

Aww, thaks so much everyone What an ego boost this thread has been

Chandistar, I did not use a pattern. I had a dream I gave it to her, and just sort of "copied" what I saw in the dream. The parts I got really stuck on I googled like mad and found a few examples of felt books (one with ABCs and one with a name on Craftster). I copied those people's ideas for sewing the two felt pages together... I was going to sew fabric to the "backs" with a felt design sewn on. I polled everyone I know IRL as to what I should use for the letters M and Y, and my DD helped with with the page layout and color suggestions

A few people at work have offered me money to make them for their grandchildren, but I think that would be too stressful. This one I enjoyed making though

I was thinking the same thing. This will be treasured and kept long after Emily is reading novels.
