I guess what I am feeling right now is that I post here, here, here, here, because I do not want the opinions of others, but rather mamas that know me, are in the same stage of mama as I am, and who know my history. For most of us, it would take at least 15 pages added to every post in any other place for people to understand what we are going through. Not to mention though we know anyone can read what we post here, that is not common.

this is the ONLY forum on MDC i've ever felt unconditional friendship support and love from. i am grieving this DDC ending on here. i know we have the other new forum but i love coming HERE. this is so sad. to the mod's, if you read this....why can't we open up playgroups like they have on ivillage or wherever else. can we do that??? this is very hard. these mamas are my best friends righ t now. i need them so greatly. w/ so many of us entering such an isolating time in PP, NOW is NOT the time to separate us and scatter us to the wind. please, make us a playgroup for nov07.

i agree w/ kimmy in re. to why i post here on this DDC. i have gone thru so much myself as a woman and as a mother of now 2 children and the women here have been there for us thru thick and thin, thru it all...this is all so bittersweet.

Exactly how I feel, Kimmy. More than one of us has commented, too, that we have posted our dilemmas in other boards and never had them answered. We turn to each other because we care about each other.

I'm so glad we have some extra time on MDC because although I've been a member here for over a year before joining the Nov DDC, this is the first place I've felt like I've made friends, like I 'belonged' somewhere. And since I check MDC all the time, it's nice to have one less place to check for the next couple of weeks at least.

I feel so comfortable with everyone in this DDC and we do offer each other lots of support. I've also created threads in other forums that have just ...disappeared ... or gotten comments that I thought were

I feel safe with all of you.
