In getting ready to do the Well Trained Mind curriculum this next year, I arranged all the books we need to buy. Found a great site, http://www.alldirect.com, that has books for much cheaper than Amazon! Free shipping, too, over $99~ WOW!

Anyone else?

www.rainbowresource.com They have free shipping over $150, I think, but I've never seen any site beat their prices...

You can also try ebay and half.com and amazon.

http://www.sciplus.com/. This is a science and surplus store. Cool stuff, great prices, and the shipping is reasonable. I put in an order the other day for a math sampler kit. It includes a geoboard and rubber bands, a tangram with assorted geometric shapes, fraction bars, dice, both blank and traditional, a protractor, a safety compass, measuring cup, a blank re-usable spinner, and a couple of other math thingies, all for 4.75. Just last week I bought Elliott just the geoboard at the local school supply store, and it was 4.25 all on it's own. There are lots of other terrific things there, but this was my latest deal!

At http://www.bestwebbuys.com/books/, you can plug in the name of the book you are looking for, and it will search pretty much all the major bookdealers, new and used, on the web and then some for the lowest price, including shipping, on your book. It also lists deals that the various booksellers have going.
