herbal birth control.

I've heard about carrot seed. Has anyone taken this? Dosage/citations...what about goldenseal or other herbs...?

This was a favorite topic of conversation when I was in herb school, but honestly I've never known anyone who used herbal BC that worked.

but do you know what's out there? I'd be willing to give it a shot. I tried asking this question on here about a year or two ago with no luck.

I've got herbs out the wazoo for concieving/dealing with irregularities but just really want the BC thing.

As for alternatives to hormonal BC I can only recommend Taking charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weshler (Fertility Awareness Method). It's really the best, but I'd like to have other options, should I want to go that route.

Sure people talk about wild carrots seeds (queen anne's lace), cotton root, Rutin.

We never discussed actually dosage...that's what I get for going to an Herb School that focused on Mens Health.

heard about neem, but can't find it here in Israel...
