We are soooo sick! DS 22 months has been sick since Friday. I got it last night and this morning my poor six week old DS is vomitting. It is so sad. He vomits till he dry heaves. I am breastfeeding and he is eating some, he is not dehydrated. He vomited 4 times and has had 4 slightly wet diapers, but no poop today. His temp is 100.3 and the doctor says to keep an eye on him. For now he is okay. Poor little guy. Wow it is hard to have me and the kids all sick. Yuck! Our house is yuck!

We've got it at the other end here at my house. It's killin my roids to the point where it still hurts to sit even with the prescription ointments. I feel like the big milk machine with the two of them going at it. At least DD1 doesn't have a fever anymore.

Being sick with little ones is no fun, especially when they are sick. Big hugs to the both of you and hopefullly it won't last too long.

There's nothing like nursing a baby while leaning over to puke into a bucket to make you wonder about the things we do as parents (and, yes, I speak from personal experience).

A day after I had my staples removed last Wednesday (12th), I started feeling like CRAP. I *thought* it was just me having made myself a little sick from the stress of getting LOST on the way to my removal----moved to a new city, learning new bus routes, appointment in an unfamilar area clear across the city---I couldn't find the building, was over an hour late because of both missing a bus and having to walk it and not being able to find the place on foot, and hence bawled like a baby on the street corner. Yeah, I'm such a freakin' pansy sometimes

I realized by Friday morning that I was actually SICK sick, and figured it was something I picked up from either the OB waiting room or the bus passengers. Either way, it basically feels like the flu without the fever. Now DH has it, and my mom is coming down with it. We're keeping a close eye on the baby, just incase she catches it, too. I doubt it though, if she hasn't caught it by now, I don't think she will. Been trying to BF her as much as possible, but all I want to do is SLEEP, and it's tough to BF when you crash for 10-12 hours at a time and no one is willing to disturb you and wake you up....Yesterday, I had a migraine "attack", and slept 12 solid hours, DH just woke me up a few hours ago and told me it was 6am...I crashed at 7 last night! I had no clue it was morning already, but he and my mom had been taking care of Angela all night so I could sleep.......But this totally sucks, whatever it is just sucks the life right out of you, it's HORRIBLE, especially in the fatigue sense.

Normally, we have a fresh jar of honey and a fresh chunk of ginger root in the house this time of year, but I haven't been able to get any yet.....I'd love some honey ginger tea right about now, it would sure help me feel a buttload better!
