Anyone else experience false labour?

My dh and I were driving for 2 hours yesterday and for the ENTIRE car ride, I had contractions (uncomfortable) about 5-8 minutes apart. This happened again on the trip home for nearly two hours. Once again today I'm getting rhythmic contractions. From what I keep reading, Braxton Hicks contractions are not supposed to be rhythmic. They stop when I get up and walk around but start up again when I sit. I didn't experience this with my last pregnancy. Anyone have similar experiences?

This keeps happening to me! It's driving me nuts because it starts in the middle of the night, and they really do feel like real contractions starting in my back and really intense... but then after about 3 hours they go away. I keep getting excited that this is it, but then nothing

That's considered BH. If they stop at all. Like laying down, or sitting. They really are annoying!

Our MW and Bradley instructor (not the same person!) both say that if the contractions stop when you change positions, that it's definitely BH.

Hang in there!

yep me too. I had a bunch last night that kept waking me up : I had this a lot with ds2- off and on contractions for a good week and a half or so. Very frustrating. I'm just so thrilled that I get to do it again

Yep me too, menstrual like cramps going down my thighs, cxtrn like feelings starting in my back. Feet up and big glass of water then they settle down after a couple of hours. My MW said this may happen every night now until the baby comes and this crampiness is very common with second babies. Seems to be just a part of the preparations.

I get really frequent/intense BHs when I'm in the car. It's my least favorite place to be these days!! Esp. since we're 2 hrs from the city and are driving there at least one a week now.
