Modern midwifery students learning on the internet

There's a new wave afoot out there. . . . . it's called Webinars, a virtual classroom where great teachers give courses live but in a virtual classroom.
I'm thinking that it will be the way of the future. I was scared of the technology at first but have learned how to use it despite my lack of sophistication around a computer. Took a wonderful course called "What Would Mammals Do?" with Lactation Consultant, Diane Weisinger. Sarah Buckley, M.D. and Nancy Wainer Cohen are two instructors that I have on my list for 2008.

There will be some free introductions to the use of web classrooms coming up in the next month. If you've thought about teaching or learning this way, definately give it a whirl. Get info at
