November moms are freaking out

Because the DDC archive thing- but it looks like they don't archive us until 5 or 6 mos after babies are born, are they changing the rules?

And why don't they just move us to a babies-the-same-age group?

the idea of losing y'all makes me want to cry- I know why they're freaking out, but isn't it a bit premature? That's why I wonder if they're changing the rules???

Anyone know?

If we need to freak out, too. I will. I still need you guys.

I guess they are changing the rules- the July, August, September & October DDC's all got a notice that their DDC's will be archived December 17th. That was yesterday.

Do you think they'll archive us Jan 19th? November moms are going to freeforums.com I think.

It kinda freaks me out to be contemplating loosing this group as well. Especially since I haven't even had the kid yet! I think choosing another avenue for us is a good idea, but it makes me sad that we will loose ppl no matter what we choose. :cry:

I wish we could just stay here indefinitely.

Popping in to say they usually archive a bunch of DDC's at once. You can always start a Dec 07 babes thread in the Life with a Babe forum.

I still chat with some moms from April 05....we keep a monthly thread in the toddlers forum.

hopefully they will give us a few more months- since July is being archived now. Maybe they archive every 6 months and we'll get another six.

I hope we don't split up in contemplation of the archive.
