My Day...

My day involved:
-our marriage counselor going to the hospital with chest pains, and subsequently canceling our appointment.
-Dylan's little friend Luke coming over to play and the two of them COMPLETELY trashing the joint. We are thinking about renting them out during riots.
-Dylan almost brained Conrad with a vacuum cleaner attachment.
-I had to call Poison Control after Dylan broke into my nightstand and ate some of my little pink pills (an asthma med... fortunately not very toxic)

:

On the other hand...
-I got to visit with Luke's mom in between reprimands and threats
-Conrad gave me lots of goofy smiles
-I taught Dylan to vacuum, and now every time he sees something on the floor he wants to break out the Hoover

LOL Don't you love kids??
My day went like this:
K was up @5am. Cried and fussed till 7.
Everyone was up by @8 and I fed the older 2 breakfast in the midst of K's crying.
I sat down with K and the other 2 unrolled all the TP and dipped it in the toilet and then flung wet paper all over the bathroom.:

So there is a silver lining to every cloud...

Let's see:

-ve

DD didn't nap.
DD threw her bowl at me after lunchtime about 10 times before passing it to me nicely.
DS vomited copiously over me first thing in the morning necessitating a change of sheets, a change of clothes and a quick bath.

+ve

DD went to sleep at 8 due to no nap.
DD identified her first author! I told her it was pajama time and she said "Sandra Boynton"! I'm so proud.
DS was cute as ever and got many admiring glances as I carried him in my RS at the Children's Museum this morning.

Um, at least the little pink pills weren't birth control? (Just looking for the silver lining here.)

I wonder what that would have done to a three year old boy...

Erica, you are *SO* smart! But I bet he didn't want to clean up any of the mess he made with his friend, huh?

Well, we let them know that there were some Christmas cookies available that I had been planning on serving, but that there would not be any cookies until the living room was cleaned up. It took some time and encouragement, but it happened.

Not sure. A friend's 7 year old ate a whole pack of her bc pills and it changed his voice. I met them when he was 9 and he had a nice deep voice that made me swoon before I found out it was coming from a kid.
