to fix or not to fix?

I am making my first waldorf doll for my not quite 2 year old. It is a 12 inch friendship doll from dancing rain dolls. So, I went and embroidered the eyes last night. Being that it is my first doll, the first eye was a bit wonky. Should I pull it out and try and redo or should I leave it?

I'm concerned that pulling out the stitches might damage the fabric? It doesn't look horrible, it just isn't perfect and that makes the perfectionist in me cringe.

WWYD?

I'd keep it well enough alone. The imperfections are part of the charm IMO.

: ITA- Just leave it and make another doll to to suit the perfectionist.

I had some issues with the eyes too, and I actually made things worse by trying to pull out and redo. It did start to damage the material, so I agree with the 2 previous posters to leave it the way it is. Who wants a perfect doll anyways? None of us are perfect!! Sara

I just had the same discussion with my mom over the doll I am making for my daughter this Christmas. She convinced me to leave her be and assured me she will be loved despite a crooked eye.

Hehe, my hubby said to leave it too. I don't want to mess it up and yep it does add to the character.

Now just to do the hair!
