BP Question...

Cross posting this from the HB Board....

I am 27 1/2-weeks pg with baby #4. At yesterday's visit with my mw, my bp was 140/70. Bottom number is good and normal for me but the top number is high. I'm usually 112/68'ish. We asked what we can do about it and she said to start walking for about 45 minutes per day and that we'd keep an eye on it. If it does start creeping up then she has some herbal methods that work. I'd like to start doing all I can now to get it back down to my normal range.

This is new for me. I had no bp problems with my first pregnancy and my bp only went up at the very end of my pregnancy with my twins. Any ideas to pass along to help get my top number down?

Are you under stress? The systolic number is more prone to being affected by stress... and getting stressed about it a high number won't help that! :

In general, lots of water, food salted to taste, and walking are good things to try and they are good for you regardless of your BP.
