Favorite NB fitted pattern

What is your favorite pattern to use for a newborn fitted? It doesn't have to be free, I'm happy to pay for a really good one.
TIA.

I"m wondering the same thing. I"m looking at the very baby pattern for newborn and the cuddlebuns pattern for bigger sizes. Anyone have anything better?

Thats a hard question to answer. I tried all the free ones before I ever bought one and ended up buying a Very Baby then drafting my own eventually. My favorite FREE pattern if you're wanting to use velcro or snaps was the Mama Bird or Ottobre. If you're wanting a one size super easy and cute fitted diaper pattern, my fave was this one.

Thanks. I'm finding that I'm more and more picky about the fit of my fitteds as time goes on. Now, I only use snaps, and the rise and fit of the diaper has to be just so for me to like it. We have one cuddlebuns diaper, and I like it, but I'm more apt to use one of their new "bikini fit" diapers because one thing that's bothered me is the width at the crotch. I have a few small Very Baby diapers, and I like them, but I've never had newborn. My kids fit newborn sizes for quite awhile, so I think I"ll get the pattern and try it.

My favorite is my free RRP pattern: http://www.handmadebyrita.blogspot.com/\

It is a one-size fits most flannel pocket pattern. If you fold down the front it fits a newborn, no problem.

I also made newborn diapers by using www.darlingdiapers.com pocket fitted pattern. I made them out of sherpa (catches poop so well) and did not make them pockets and left off all closures and used pins. I made the small out of 2 layers of sherpa and had an internal soaker of 1-2 layers of sherpa. If I needed more absorbancy (not a problem with my newborn) I added a wipe or two for a doubler. I folded down the front the first weeks, and then used them unfolded until approx. 4 months. I can post pics if you want! You can do this with any small diaper pattern. Just leave off all closures so you can adjust and fold down the front.

Here is the picture of the Darling Diaper pocket fitted adapted to a sherpa fitted without any closures. They are all the same diapers, but one has the front folded down and it actually fits a newborn great! My 6.5 pound son wore it when he was 3 days old!

I'm also in the middle of making more NB sized diapers for the stash! As I prefer to have front snapping diapers for the teeny diapers, I'm going with a mix of Very Baby fitteds (the pattern tends to run small) and Darling Diapers NB fitteds (the pattern is a touch bigger than the VB). Also made some PUL covers from the VB Snug Wrap pattern. If you want a copy of the Darling Diapers NB pattern, I think that I have it kicking around somewhere. PM me and I'll email it out to you.

Since I don't know how big this baby will be, I'm also making the size small stash ahead of time. I'm using a mix of my own front snapping pattern, some Very Baby AIOs and some side snapping Fattycakes. Still thinking about what kind of covers to make in this size, though. I'd like to use wool, but will have to see how fast I can knit them.

Fattycakes and the free dd serged pattern. You can go here and pm "admin" for the fattycakes pattern...it's $5 and completely worth it!

The DD newborn totally gets my vote! I just helped a friend make 12 of these Sunday and they rock!

I like the Very Baby pattern and also the diaperkits.com dipes. They are easy to put together and have clear directions for beginners. Also the fact that everything is already cut out to size made it so nice for me.
