SPD Postpartum

Thread Starter
One of my clients is having what she thinks is SPD but it started 2 weeks postpartum. Is this just everything moving back into place, or could it be something else? She had it a little bit during the pregnancy, it went away immediately after the birth and then started up again.

I found that mine came and went for a couple of months postpartum before it seemed like my pelvis was firmly together again. I just continued with the methods that brought relief during pg: chiropractic adjustments, not standing on one leg to dress, sleeping with a pillow b/t my knees, flax seed oil daily, etc.

I hope your client feels some relief soon!

I had spd problems for a year after my son was born. It was severe in pregnancy though, got better immediately after birth and then a couple months later started getting worse again.
