So I have this really beautiful, great quality furniture. Only problem is that the outside fabric is in crappy shape (I suppose that's what two young kids will do to beautiful furniture!). I am waiting until I have enough $ to get them reupholstered (probably in 1 or 2 years). In the meantime, we have been using slipcovers, since they can be washed and will prevent the fabric from getting any more marker/crayon/vomit/food on them.
I haven't been able to find slipcovers that fit properly! I bought stretchy ones so that they would fit. They cover the furniture, but looks funny since they're meant to fit much smaller furniture. We're tried a couple of different kinds, no success yet.
We have two armchairs, a full-sized couch and an ottoman.
Any suggestions?!
