My water just broke!!!!-Update number 39

I can't believe it!!!!! I went to bed and suddenly felt something warm-I went to the bathroom and felt trickling-not like pee. So I did the test my MW told me to do- walk around bare bottomed and if something trickles it's your bag of waters-and it trickled!!!!!!!!!

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gotta wait for a contraction pattern to start now!!!

I called my MW and doula and both were like-try to get some sleep-of course-how can I. I feel like the kid in the Disney commercial:

"I'm too excited to sleep!"

Yeah, I could never "get some sleep" when I think labor's imminent either!! I'm so excited for you! I can't wait for an update!

I'm so glad to hear that your prodromal labor is coming to an end! After my water broke with my last birth, I had to get my dd to sleep after I cleaned up. It took forever b/c I was so excited and *I* was having a hard time laying still and being calm so she could snuggle herself to sleep.

Hope things go quickly and well for you. Looking forward to seeing your birth announcement!!

I was able to sleep for about 3-4 hours on and off. Ctx are getting stronger-however I am not timing them yet because that makes me crazy.

I do have to go in to the hospital by 7am since I am GBS positive and need the antibiotics-I thought I would be annoyed but I don't even care at this point! My MW is highly recommended by my tribal area-and I am giving birth at a really nice hospital birthing center.

I'll try to get someone to post an update later for me. I'll be away from the internet for awhile.......

SheBear-I really hope our babies share a birthday!!! Good luck!

Karen, I am so happy for you! I know the prodromal labor has been so frustrating. And that is awesome that you actually got some rest - you are going to need it!

Easy labor vibes to you...can't wait to hear the story!
