Congratulations, Karen. So exciting to have that sweet baby in your arms, you rest rest rest- 51 HOURS< Oh my goodness, you are my new hero. My sister used to be. She labored for 31 hours and was actually pushing for 9 hours, OGM I would have I don't know, I just can't imagine doing that. her baby was wedged funny, too- his chin wasn't tucked and his shoulder was closer to the cervix than his head was. His shoulder was actually bruised and moulded from the pressure. OUCH.
Get rest you deserve so much. take care of yourself, you're recovering not only from a long pregnancy, but from a long labor as well and surgery. allow yourself to rest a LOT and make sure someone else is cooking for you and drink plenty of water. we all love you, kiss that baby!
