Calphalon Anodized Coating

Thread Starter
Dh and I were given a Calphalon pot about 10 years ago. It is our work horse, pastas, chilis, stews and anything that requires 8 quarts goes in there.

I'm guessing I ruined it while I endeavored to scrape off the stuck pasta noodles off the bottom. Now the interior no longer has the anodized coating. Should I worry?

(I'm secretly wishing for enablement to buy an All-Clad sauce pan and pot. Not that I can afford either mind you, but I can wish.)

I've contacted the company and they admit to using Teflon chemicals in their pans, so yes, yours probably isnt safe.
