Treating Preggo's like they are WHALES.

Why do people treat 9 months pregnant chicks like they are animals?

I was at a restaurant yesterday and I had some bread left on a plate next to my dinner plate. The waitress asked if she could take it, and I said no thank you....and she laughed and made some kind of joke that felt like "You just ate the whole loaf of bread, whats one more piece fatty?" do you know what I mean? :

Like because I am pregnant I am just a giant eating machine, just because I wanted to keep my bread?

It seems like people at the grocery store make jokes about my purchaces also...although I cant remember a specific incident.

Its not very nice to do that.

Even if I can eat alot right now. My body is housing a small child! What is wrong with people?

I am having a homebirth but maybe they are thinking "She better stop eating or they wont be able to do a c-section!"

I just laugh it off...but it hurts my feelings! How do I tell people to shut the F up?
