I like trifle for Christmas
Our recipe has jelly roll (raspberry filling) instead of lady fingers, halves of canned pears, custard and whipped cream

Of the three you listed, I'd love the boston cream pie

I'ld go with the boston cream pie

Sounds like Boston Creme Pie would be both delicious and meaningful to your family. I'd go with that.

All of the above.

Can I please come to your house? I'd like the creme brulee (not chocolate) and the cream pie. Both, yup.

We always have Pineapple Whipped Cream Fluff, which is a recipe I shouldn't even post on MDC...not even at Christmas (but at least it has fruit in it.).

Of the first three options, I think I'd opt for Boston Cream Pie.

I think my Grandma used to make that!

Does it involve marshmallow fluff, cool whip and canned crushed pineapple?
:
God I loved that stuff!

No - although I've had that one, too.

This is a crumb crust of crushed vanilla wafers and butter.
The next layer is eggs, butter and icing sugar, beat until very thick and refrigerated.
The top layer is whipped cream with drained, crushed pineapple mixed into it.

It's sooooo yummy, and has no redeeming features other than taste.

What is a Yule log? I've heard of them, but never seen one (other than an actual wood Yule log, of course).

Well, I'd want pie 'cause that's what my family does. Mom makes multiple pies (she's bit insane about Christmas) so I'm used to cherry, pumpkin and pecan being around at the holidays. If Boston Cream Pie is your family thing, I'd do that.

Is making multiple pies crazy? I do two pecan and two pumpkin for Thanksgiving at my mom's. I'd do the same at Christmas, but we all love the pineapple dessert too much...

Out of your choices, I'd love creme brulee. I adore the stuff.

But, for us, cake is a traditional dessert at Christmas. So, we're having some sort of cake.

All that shellfish, probably served with a bunch of melted butter? I wouldn't want anything too rich or heavy after that. I'd make a pear tart or poached pears. Maybe something with lemon, like a lemon custard. Something with a bright flavor.

Cranberry Eggnog Tart - basically an eggnog cheesecake with cranberry... my family raved over this at Thanksgiving. Bonus is it looks terribly complicated, but really isn't (I skipped the compote and just served it with whipped cream).

If you want pumpkin:
pumpkin custard profiteroles with maple caramel - cream puffs stuffed with pumpkin custard and topped with caramel sauce. Again, it looks terribly complicated, but it's really not. AND the whole thing can be made days ahead of time and just assembled at the last minute (I assembled Thanksgiving morning).
