I got a Plan Toys My First Dollhouse off ebay and it has a couple crayon marks on it I'd like to try to get off. Any ideas how?

magic eraser, applied gently... it can take off the underlying paint if you're not too careful.

Solumel by melaleuca. Works miracles on crayon.

A few ideas for you:
  • Try WD-40 on a cloth.
  • Rubbing alcohol or hairspray containing alcohol.
  • Baking soda and warm water
  • Another crazy thing that I've heard but never tried: bread balled up and rub it good!
  • If it's fresh, I've also read that you can heat up the area with a hair dryer and use conventional cleaning product to remove it.

warn iron and a piece of cotton scrap fabric - you can transfer the crayon to the fabric.

I don't know how it would react to paint, but i've used a product called goo gone with great results on crayon. If this is a non-painted surface, very fine sandpaper is the best way to go.

my mom got a used one, and rubbed the whole thing with fine sandpaper, it looks almost like new.
