Losing feeling in my toes

Thread Starter
I started a job a few weeks ago that involves 12-hour shifts of walking on concrete hauling a heavy cart. After my third week, I noticed that I was beginning to lose some feeling in the toes of one of my feet. It feels like I have a blister or the sock is caught between my toes or something. DF says it's nerve damage and that he had the same problem during basic training and he's just now getting some feeling back and it's been three weeks.

I can't quit this job. It's the only thing that works with going to school and DS. It's also the only thing that pays enough to pay the rent. I've gotten new shoes, padded socks, and insoles. Is there anything else I can do to keep from permanently damaging my feet?

It does sound like nerve issues. Can you see a chiropractor? Maybe do some kind of yoga tape when you have time? I know, I know, who has time, right ? It might help, though.
