I made a waldorf doll!

Sorry, I just had to celebrate here. I've long admired all the ones I've seen posted but was always too afraid to try one. I actually bought the Little baby kit from Joy's over 6 months ago but couldn't work up the nerve to sew it till now. I'm so excited; it's for my 2-year-old ds2 for Christmas:

AWww, what a sweetie! Nice work Mama!
I've made a few Waldorf dolls, and they are a bit intimidating! Maybe you could call him Nemi for short

I made the same one from Joy's kit, red velour and all! The elastic on my sleeves came out a bit too large too and I wasn't going to fix it either! I wonder if that is a problem in the directions...

Thanks, mamas! I'm so proud of that dang doll that I keep sneaking into the bedroom to look at it.

CounterGOPI, so glad your dd is enjoying her animals! I'll have to tell dh that; it will make his day.

Your baby is beautiful! I hope mine turns out as well.

I just got my kit to make the little heavy baby (we got red velour too) for my 17mo for christmas.

So far I've prepared the millet and cut out all the pattern pieces. Starting work on the head tonight and maybe the body if I have enough time
