PP bleeding

How long did you bleed for post-partum? Just curious. I'm on day 11, and yesterday had barely any bleeding at all except for like two little brown spots. I'm anxious to be all done. Heh.

I was using all disposable at first, and then switched to all cloth, and now am back on disposables. I hate pads. Cloth and disposable alike. I'll probably switch back to cloth again if I'm still bleeding next time I do the wash. Keep it interesting for myself.

I always bled for like 2 weeks. But I also usually have very long, heavy periods...

I think it was like 4 weeks I can't remember exactly.

And no way are you 11days pp already!?!? Maya was just born!!

I will be 3 weeks pp on Monday and still bleeding. I don't think I ever bled this long with the other kiddos.

I'm no help at all.

I'm have very light bleeding and we're day 4. With DS#1 I bled for 8 weeks then had my IUD put in and bled for almost 8 more.

i'm on day 14 and i'm still lightly bleeding. it's much darker now than it was last week, though, so i think i'm almost done.

With Ella I bled heavily for a week or so, and then had a constant dribble forever. Seriously, 11 weeks or something. My midwife was no help, so eventually I saw a herbalist and drinking shepard's purse tea by the bucketful.

It's a bit early to say this time (only 2 weeks out) but it's already slowed to the point where I can go without a pad for most of the day as long as I am taking it easy. More walking = need a pad. I am all about cloth pads - I don't make my kids sit on stinky plastic diapers, why would I? Ha!

12 days, bleeding very lightly.

I've always been a heavy bleeder after birth (& have 2 PP hemorrhages now to show for it ) but a very light menstruation bleeder, I dunno why! After my first 2 I bled pretty heavily for 6 weeks & then trickled off until 8-9 weeks PP. After my 3rd I was determined to not "overdue it" which always makes me bleed heavier. I stayed in bed a lot more & managed to only bleed until 5-6 weeks.

I'm only 2 days PP now so I'm still sportin' the mesh panties & giant OB pads.

Keep an eye on it, if it goes very long or is clotty at all, call your OB or MW

It *can* mean there is still placenta in there. Which can be dangerous.

I bled for almost 6 weeks last time...

I bled almost 7 weeks with DS. This time it seems much lighter already, so not sure.

with both my girls I bled for about 6 weeks. So far I'm 2 days pp and already down to a normal period flow. But I've been nursing a lot more frequently and resting a lot more than I did with my girls.

Let me just say I LOVED THE MESH PANTIES. I thought of that awesome thread each time I put them on. Heh.

Okay, so it's day 11 for me, and I hardly bled yesterday and not at all today. Can I assume I'm done? Or might it come back? My period used to resurrect itself after a day or two of no bleeding. But I'm back on cloth now. Yay laundry.

I am on day 12 (How did THAT Happen??!!!) and I haven't bled since day 10.

I remember bleeding for about 4 or 5 weeks with DS #1

I really hope that I am done bleeding...it is NO fun!!

Day 11 here - mine kind of ebbs and flows. Yesterday I was out and about and bled minimally in spite of a LOT of walking, but overnight it picked back up again.
