I think it's interesting but I don't think one could say one or the other(pregnancy or BF) is the only reason. It's a noticable differance in breast appearances for the entire childbearing year and the breastfeeding (for me this is always about 1 1/2 solid years of nursing). If you breastfeed most likely you were pregnant (I say this because some adoptive mama's nurse). How can we say conclusively what is the cause. To me it's like saying what came first the chicken or the egg? The breasts change fact. A part of life. Maybe we should just see less fake non mama breasts and we would start to feel more encouraged with our breasts.

well the almost 3 years of bfing and 6mo of tandem nursing has changed my nipples more than just pregnancy did. i was 17 when i got pregnant with my older, where my nipples and breasts changed a lot, mainly in a cup size bigger in general (though it was 6 sizes different after birth of the first and 3 after the second) and my nipples got bigger, but the bfin has madde them longer for sure.
and now at 20, my boobs definitely arent immature

I think it is the weight gain.
No way. Women in my family don't gain much weight (my mom lost weight!) but those with big boobs still get saggy boobs. She thinks it was gravity and engorgement working together.

Seriously, how can you deny the basic physics of the issue?

I think that the leading risk factor of contracting saggy breasts is being female.
