Baby's behavior before/during labor

My baby has been squirming all over for hours tonight. Just wondering if anyone experienced this just prior to labor. (I know, I'm reading too much into it!) What about during labor? Did anyone notice fetal movement during labor? i don't remember noticing it the last time around.

Anyway... going to bed now. We'll see what effect that has on baby, if any. I'm totally not feeling laborish... just bored and curious. Nite-nite.

If I remember correctly my guys always settled way down right before they came. As if to rest before the big event.

Ds was pretty restful near the end. I did feel him moving during labor a little. I don't really remember how active my girls were near the end but I (sadly) had epidurals with both of them.

I've always heard they calm down a lot before they come out. I've had about 3-4 days of very little activity-she's obviously cramped. Last night she was playing with her toes, though. I love that.
