If you were buying towels...

Any towels you like... which would you buy? Within a reasonable price range, of course!

(Show me links if you have them!)

The only towels I will buy are Macy's Hotel Collection microcotton. They are thick and soft and fluffy and absorbent and last forever. I've had some for five years that still look new. They are pricey ($20-25) but worth it, and sometimes they do go on sale. Or, if you aren't picky about color then you can usually get seconds for $9.99.

Fieldcrest Royal Velvet are awesome! They last forever. I had bought some online for a gret price a couple of years ago, but I can't remember where I got them!

Yah, those snag and pull easily

I bought a few for my boys from Bed, Bath & Beyond... maybe $10-$15 a piece and after almost two years they still look decent, though they are not washed every day or anything. BUT they look better than the cheaper ones I have.

I don't remember what they're called, but JCPenney has some nice towels. if you wait until they have a white sale, you can get a good deal on them.

I got some very expensive towels at BB&B. They are egyptian cotton, blah blah blah (can't remember the brand) but they are yucky. They pill & get linty & have faded.

The best towels I have used lately have been at my grandma's house. She got them at Costco.
