since my son becoming retractile

His foreskin seems to be shorter because during a diaper change no erection but his hole was wide enough with part of his glans sticking out but not past the corona ridge -is it normal for a intact boy to not have full covering from his foreskin but as long as its not passed the ridge.

I would gather that it's normal. Foreskins vary in length.

Yep, sounds totally within the range of normal.

I have talked to a lot of guys on my board and the foreskin varies in length. Its completely normal for the foreskin to not fully cover the head.

It sounds normal to me to. Just make sure at each change to gently pull the skin forward using a wipe when you wipe it off that way it wont get behind the glans and possibly get stuck.

My middle son has 1/4 of the glans exposed, or at least he did as a child (he's now at an age where I don't see those things). The others had the more typical long taper. It's in the genes somewhere.

One aspect I remember, is the middle son with the shorter foreskin was actually more of a bother to clean. Erections meant that 75%-100% of the glans emerged. Combined with a dirty diaper, all sorts of stuff could get into the folds. That's why I laugh so hard when people say that long foreskins are 'hard to clean' - my 'anteater' sons were a breeze by comparison.
