Simon was born December 20 at 7:53 pm. He weighed 9lb 14 oz and is 20 in long - kind of a stocky little guy. I was induced because of high BP with cervadil and pitocin. This labor was wonderful - will post story later, but I had no pain meds and have never felt so empowered in my life. I did hemmorhage after and lost quite a bit of blood which is making moving around and staying awake difficult but I am trying to build up my iron stores and I am enjoying my babymoon. Hope everyone is doing well - will update soon with birth story and pics.

I second the kudos on pit and no other meds -- BTDT and it is HARD! Good job!

Congratulations and welcome Simon!!

And I'll fourth the props for pitocin and no pain meds - I toughed it out with pit for DD1 for 12 hours, but at that point I was begging for an epi - you do rock!!
