my placenta prints!

i did my placenta prints a couple days ago. it was fun and easy, i'm really pleased w/ how they turned out very special. i added a couple pics to my photo album:

anyone else have some to share? it's probably mostly my blood, from the back of the placenta, but maybe some of hers from the cord and inside a bit. neat how it's mixed together a little now (forever).

I love placenta prints! Mine were done right away, the first few were just blood and the rest were mixed with paint. I have them hanging up around my birthing corner in the living room (I ended up having her on the bathroom floor instead but we're staying in this corner for the next week or two)

my cousin did that painting, i love it. that's actually the living room, it's closer to the kitchen and a bathroom so we're staying in it for another week or so before i move upstairs to my bedroom.
