: I'm here. 40+5 or something.

Me. Another vote for prodromal hell, I'm fine with it either way, stop or start up. My poor DH keeps getting excited, then nothing.

My due date is today. Have had cramping for about a week now but nothing else. I hope to hold out until after Christmas now.

I'm here. 40 + 3 (or, I guess technically 4 now, since it's 1:30 here). Count me in on the prodromal hell team. Feeling rotten and tired of the stops and starts.

Still here, just turned 39 weeks yesterday so I'm planning on being the proverbial fat lady and brushing up on my arias.

You, me and starry mama can close the doors and lock up the shop on our way out. I don't mind being the last to leave the party.

I'll sweep the floors before we lock up.

I'm 8 days past my EDD and starting to freak out, because at 10 days past my midwives are sending me to the hospital for an evaluation. Ugh, I and know the doctor will want to induce, and i will have to fight ... I'm in Japan, they are paranoid about "big babies" and like to induce.

DS#1 was born at 39 weeks, so being "overdue" is a bit of a surprise. I wouldn't mind so much if my midwives would just let me wait it out.

here at 40+2. After weeks of false labor, I have had NO contrax today. Merry Christmas to me! Really! Now as anxious that I am about hurrying up and birthing this baby because I am sooo beyond done being pregnant, baby can now wait until the 27th. My eldest's birthday is tomorrow the 26th and although he has said that he wants to share a birthday with his new sibling, I don't think that he quite gets what that entails.

wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait

40w + 4d here. Lots of stop/start contractions that have been going on for weeks. Poor DH is on pins and needles. I'm thankful that she didn't come this morning, though - it was nice to get to watch the boys open their presents this morning.

41 weeks today and since Jen, Belleweather, and Starry Mama have (or soon to have) Babies earthside (Lots of ELV to Starry!) Looks like I'll lock up shop!

Hello,

I am still hanging in there too.Despite hiking everyday in the pouring rain. I am glad I am not the only one left. I feel kind of depressed when I check the DDC now instead of being excited. Lets all have our babies today,....okay?

I'll help you lock up, Lizzardbits.

, mamablueberry. I walked 3.5 miles on Friday and all I got for it was an achy pelvis. In fact, I walk at least a mile a day, usually closer to 3, and it's not been particularly helpful yet. Here's hoping that our exercise will benefit us while we're working hard in labor, even if it won't make us go into labor.

So I just tried another tactic: Eat some ice cream and cry for a while. I can report that that will not send one into labor either. :

I'm still here at 40+1. I've been having prodromal labor off and on, so at least something is happening now, productive or not.
