Well i thought i would start todays as i logged on to see who else was still waiting .. im trying so hard not to get down about waiting and trying to keep busy..

9 days overdue now ! 41 + 2 .. and nothing to report in the slightest ..

::: Baby girl pleeeeease come out soon, i want to see you, and cuddle you and kiss you .. and i think your daddy does not believe he is actually going to have a daughter bless him, i think he is just sick of waiting now and gave up asking if his daughter is coming today ...

But happy christmas eve everybody !!

39 + 5 (or 6...just remembered it was my midwife who changed my EDD from 12/26 to 12/25, but I've been going by the online tracker...like a day matters ) Anyway, nothing to report. I'm up much earlier than I would like but hopefully I'll just take a nice mid-morning nap. Did tons of stuff yesterday, much more than we planned on doing so today should be more laid back. Get tons of BH but that isn't new. I keep peering into the toilet to see some of these exciting signs everyone else has but nothing is there. I hope there will still be mamas around when it is finally my turn!

This is it!

I just woke up after not being able to sleep through contractions. Right before bed, we DTD and I felt like I was getting the stomach flu. I had been having mucous all day.

I just went pee and lost my entire, bloody mucous plug. Who knows how long this will last, but I'm insanely shaky and can barely type. I'm about to take a shower just to feel warm for a minute. I always get shaky as heck when in labor.

This was my due date #2 via LMP/charting, so it looks like I have another Cappy who wants to be here on her due date!

Still here, still pregnant. My mom will be here in an hour or so, so I'm hoping to stay pregnant for another couple of days.

Nice! ELV! :

This fits my evening as well, but no bloody show.

Hopefully baby will wait until at least the 26th, poor kid will never live it down with my very christian family members otherwise. He'll come when he's ready.
Things are finally 'ready', outside of my bedroom - which is a disaster. Headcold is completely gone, no more congestion even.

I am 40w2d, and don't think anything will go anywhere anytime soon.

Yay kittywitty!!!!! Lots and lots of ELVs to you! Come on, baby!

40 + 4 for me. Actually feeling much better today (which is almost depressing in and of itself) but I do have just the first signs of blood in muscus this morning. Trying not to get myself too excited, but up until now it's just been mounds and mounds of completely un-blood-tinged mucus, so hoping this is a positive sign. Of course, all along in this pregnancy I have said that the two days I absolutely did NOT want to give birth were today and tomorrow. But, you know what, at this point.....will it really be so much worse for baby to be born on the 24th or 25th than on the 26th?? Still going to be categorized as a "Christmas baby" either way, and man would I love to be snuggling a little squishy newborn sooner rather than later!

hello.

I am still pregnant.

Dh is home for 3 days off and I am going to try to have sex with him.

I hate saying it like that. We have such a hot sex life most of the time...It sucks to feel so yuck about sex.

Maybe I need to change my thoughts... :

I am like 41 weeks and some change. I dont know how much change.

Why am I not that anxious? Its weird? I mean, I am uncomfortable...and 41 weeks pregnant....but I am not feeling this great sense of urgency that I think I should be feeling.

I am WAY too mellow for being this pregnant. Something is wrong with me.

40 and 1. Didn't think that I'd make it today....not because of baby....but because of internet issues. It is super slow.

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope that everyone has a great holiday!

Lots of super easy labor vibes to KittyWitty!

Contractions are still ~3 minutes apart, but getting harder. I think babe is posterior, as I feel it mostly in my back. But otherwise I'm fine so far. Hopefully this won't take too long!!

I couldn't help but check in in labor and see who else is doing what. :

Yeay Kittwitty!

40+1 today.
I had contractions about 10 mins apart for 4+ hours last night and some cramping but it all petered out around 12-1. They were definitly stronger and lasting about 2 mins...

Go Kitty!

Still here... 40+4. Lots of uncomfortable pressure and aching, but nothing very different. Going to my sister's today for a family celebration, then out to dinner tonight. No plans tomorrow, so if we can make it through the opening of presents that would be nice for my DD. I'm sure we will.

Good vibes to all of you who are on the verge!

hahahahahaha!

I don't think my dh has realized the full extent of my MDC addiction.

I wonder what he will think when I am checking in mid labor. :

Does anyone else find hands and knees to be very diffacult when you have SOOOOOO much extra weight on your body? I have to get up from the floor on hands and knees and its really tough!!! My arms and legs feel like thye are going to collapse.

I am thinking "how do people LABOR in this position?"

BTW-Is anyone including their MDC addiction in their birth story? Like kitty checking in mid labor?

I think in 40 years it will be funny to look back and remember how much time was spent on daily updates, etc.

40+2 here. Baby's still super active, but no signs she is interested in coming anytime soon. I was kind of hoping to get out of family obligations by being in labor!

42 weeks today and no sign of baby. Had a NST and BFP today and baby scored a 10. Cervix is still 3 cm long. She was estimated at 9.5 lbs (FWIW) and has a ton of hair.

I'm pretty sure there will be an induction in my future.
