I haven't been able to post much since LO was born. Having a 2 year old and a newborn is tough! I'm just trying to keep everything from falling apart now that dh is back at work. Anyone else having a hard time with a newborn and a toddler? I still haven't had time to post my birth story.

Me! Me! I'm finding it difficult. Sofie adjusted easily to her new sister... which was the thing I was worried about before having the 2nd one. But I didn't realize how tired I was going to be. I recieved 4 hrs of sleep last night and finally got the littlest one sleeping soundly when of course the older one wakes up for the day (well till noon anyways). I think the only thing that saves me from going totally insane is my sling. Keeping my hands free to play with the toddler but still holding the littlest one.
It's funny because I used to nanny twins, and though twins were harder then a singleton child, I found them easier then two little ones of different ages. At least the twins went down for a nap at the same time.
If anyone has advice to helping make it easier please share!!

If I could babywear it would make it easier. But I just can't figure it out. There is some kind of problem with every carrier I try to use. Are there any super easy carriers out there?

The Baby Bjorn is probably the easiest to figure out. I hate it, but dh loves it. I bought my sling in a store, and the store owner showed me how to wear it properly. Before that I was clueless. Now that I know how its super easy. Do you know anyone IRL who wears that could show you?

OMG. ME. I mentioned this in my birth announcement thread but wowwie, this having babies 24 mos apart IS challenging! I'm in great spirits & full of happiness, but I have to search for a split second that I can even get a quick toothbrushing in, let alone taking a shower. And thank GAWD my mom is here. She is amazing & has kept our entire house in order & all of us fed... I think we'd all be buried under messes & starving without her. And I'm nervous about her leaving! (she lives in CA) My dh doesn't go back to work until after the 1st, AND my older kids are 16 & 9 AND my brother's here- I have alll this help & support & I'm STILL soooo busy & trying to figure out how to juggle everything... it takes us like an hour just to get the kids ready for bed. And then the moment we lay down, one of them fills their diaper.
LOL
It's all craziness! I haven't finished writing my birth story nor have I uploaded any pictures! And it's driving my crazy! I just can't find the time, & tandem nursing takes up both my arms! Oy.
Anyway, I absolutely understand the busyness you are feeling.
Just think of it an a fun adventure & laugh when things get completely ridiculous.
