I made a felt house purse for DD, finished in the nick of time yesterday! I sort of copied the one I saw online somewhere (Anthropologie I think), but since I was running so short on time I just gave it a flat roof secured with an ornate button. I am delighted to report that DD told MIL over the phone that it (the house, fairies and horses) was the most awesome gift ever.

Anyhow, photos are in my blog as usual ("me" link). The photos are sort of dark, but when I put up the Christmas post there is a better lit shot I think

I'm so inspired.Definitely going to get started making one to use an Easter "basket".Last year the "basket"was a big dump truck.

Holy Smokes Grace, thanks! I missed it, having been bumped down by now... but that's sort of cool.

Thanks everyone! I think I might make some more too. They are prtty satisfying.

I finished my #1 niece's little felt house today (we see her tomorrow, the big sister to the Felt Book niece). I did not put a roof on this one, and while it turned out a little crooked I think I like it better than the one I gave DD I am going to bed, but I will put photos of that up later in the week. I have to figure out how to stick a little Flicker thing in the sidebar of the blog to make viewing the photos easier...

If you look under your control panel thingy, where the "widgets" option is, you can drag the flickr widget into your little box.

Don't they have those daily lists archived? I'm new to that site, so I'm not totally up on everything there yet.

I look forward to seeing the new pictures of your latest project!

The house is adorable! And OMG! That book is just amazing as well!! I am just loving felt nowadays. It's my current fave.

I have only recently been hit by the crafting bug (Christmas did it). I just bought 6 yards of felt yesterday
I love your house!! Maybe I'll try it.
