I have a daughter who will be 16 in March and another who will be 14 in April. They take turns with who is being sassy or grumpy, and they have grown apart, which makes me sad. The older one, just broke up with her boyfriend of 4 mos because he was cheating on her again. I think she would have given him another chance, but we said he is not welcome in our home if he has so little respect for her (and he has lied to us repeatedly). She doesn't seem mad at us, but is having a little bit of a hard time getting over it, especially with it being the holidays. I think he wanted her to do more sexual things than she was ready for, since he is 18...and I am glad he is gone. She has other boys interested in her, but I'm hoping she waits a while.
The younger of the two has no boyfriend, but is a huge social butterfly and her list of who she is great friends with changes from week to week. I think she is trying to figure out who she is really...and it's hard too because she will go to a different high school next year, than almost all her friends, based on where we live.
Anyway, I wanted to introduce myself, because I suspect I will be here more often now that I realized you all are here!
