[QUOTE=Katfka;10098885]40wks 4d here. Feeling pretty good actually, still allright being pregnant. Just : baby comes before the 1st, for purely financial reasons.

DITTO! The fact that I'll be 41 weeks tomorrow is making me a little nervous, as they will want to induce me after 42 weeks. That plus having to pay my deductible after Jan. 1st.

Anyway, feeling the same. No baby today. Going to the mall to walk around, as much as I know it's going to be a nightmare there! I loved having Christmas with just the three of us, but now I'm going stir crazy and need to get OUT.

Someone ripped down the Barack Obama sign in front of our house on Christmas day. Sigh. What is the matter with people? I hate having to explain that to my 4 year old... that some people are just mean.

Okay, if we have to.

He's a day old in these pictures. He still hasn't worn any clothing but diapers, and he'll be a week old tonight. Oh my goodness, he is so wonderful, and so much work.

And for you preggos - every time I take a bath, I start crying when I pull the plug, because I no longer have to warn him that there's about to be a loud noise, since I'm not carrying him inside any more. I miss that!

I have been wondering about you guys this past week. Lots going on here!

I'm not as impatient as I sound, though, and am on my way to the Y to walk and swim, then a friend is coming over for tea in front of the fireplace (that should be good for an oxytocin boost, right?).
Oh, I totally want my tax break. No secrets there. Because of liquidating assets for a down payment on the house, tax time will be major suckage this year.

I was wondering if a bunch of mamas weren't going to go into labor right after Christmas dinner, because of all the oxytocin the big family meal would release.

I just had the nicest lazy afternoon nap curled up on the bed with Aaron and the dogs. That's something I probably won't be able to do any day now, right? Good to savor that sort of thing while we can.

39+3, I think. I'm with all you mamas on the tax write-off... since we were poor for the majority of the year this year and won't be next year we're looking at a $2-3K difference. I figure that's enough to justify some anxiousness on my part.

Our labor support SWAT Team arrives at 8pm tonight. I got my first little bits of bloody show today, so perhaps if I'm very lucky we'll be putting them to work sooner rather than later. I also decided that once I started seeing bloody show that was my official sign that it was time to stop working. FINALLY.

I;m really crampy and having lots of back pain, and I'm so annoyed! This either needs to give me a baby VERY SOON, or it needs to go away.

Belleweather, I'm sending you labor vibes!

OT: I hope that you'll put the Paul Simon quote back in your siggy someday. It's one of my favorites. But I think your current sig is hilarious. And it looks like you got your wish, too!
