My SIL is pregnant but....

she's not seen a DR or MW yet because they just moved to a new state and haven't gotten HI yet. So she's home for the weekend and has asked to see my MW so that she can hear a heartbeat and feel good about whats going on. She says she's about 16 week, but she hasn't felt any movement yet...she has 2 boys, 3 yrs and 8 months.... I know that not everyone feels movement at or around 16 weeks, and I am feeling just as anxious as she is. She had a m/c around the same time that I did in 2006 and then went on to have her 2nd when my last one, which ended in m/c @ 23 weeks, was due in 2007. Anyway, my MW is more than happy to meet with her tomorrow, I am just really really hoping they get an HB, and I am freaking out too....

I felt SOMETHING around 16/17, but to be perfectly honest I didn't feel anything else again until close to 23 weeks. Now, of course, he's acting like I'm a massage chair and he's the set of internal knobs that have to rotate every two minutes.

Good luck and keep us posted!

I didn't feel any movement until 18 weeks. Maybe because she is my first and I didn't know what movement felt like. She should really push getting her insurance because is it not good to neglect prenatal care!

They got a heartbeat! Yay! I am so happy and she is about 16 weeks, so this one and her 8 month old will be about 14 months apart, crazy but exciting!!!!
