Do any of you 'store' an extra scoby? If so how? I'd like to keep a couple on hand in case something happens to my current brew. Also I want to take a break from brewing because have more than we can store at the moment.
For short term storage I use a glass container and put about a cup of Kombucha in with my extra scoby and put it in the fridge. This is not good for long term because they will eventually go dormant. This woman has a nursery.
