Anyone else worried if laboring thru fireworks on New Year's Eve?

For those planning a homebirth do you think laboring thru fireworks (ya know the kind the neighbors shoot off) will be a distraction? At the very least, my dogs will be freaking out. THoughtS?

Is there an area the dogs can go where they'll be calmer? I know for my basset at our old place she *had* to be in our bathtub if there were fireworks going off (we live close enough to the local minor league baseball stadium that we hear they're weekly fireworks shows in the summer). Granted, that wouldn't have worked if I had been laboring (I gave birth in the tub), but maybe your dogs have a similar safe spot you can put them and not worry about them?
