Wool fabric and cover questions help

I need to make some covers and I have no idea what kind of wool to use. I want to make a few wraps and then some shorts and pants. What kind is best? Where do I get it? What is a decent price? (cause the $60yd on one site isnt even close to possible!!!) What is the difference between the normal fabrics? Do I need %100 wool or is a blend ok?

TIA

Also what is the best pattern for a wool cover? I have the new conceptions pattern but that sure seems to run big! I made an xs and it fit (barely but still) my 28lb ds!

Hi ya, a lot of the covers and pants you see for sale are made of interlock. I run a co-op for wool interlock and it goes for about $16 per yard. It is best to felt it prior to use to tighten up the fibers and make them more abosrbent. It is really nice stuff. You can get more info from the co-op page, the link is below. I don't know about patterns, I made my own.
Thanks, Jeanne
