Good morning!!!

How's everyone today?

I'm 40+4 today and have been up w/ contractions (and lots of menstral like cramping) 7-8 mins apart since 5ish this morning. We'll see where this goes. I'm trying not to get to terribly excited.
I still have a few things I want to get done before baby gets here. I guess this might be the kick in the pants I need.

I had started a post too and thought to doublecheck if someone else did it while I was typing before hitting send...whew, glad I did.

40+2 I was feeling kind of crampy throughout the night and this morning, but I don't think it is anything...maybe just some really mild warm up. It is enough of a difference though that I'm a little worried about one last thing I need to do. Hubby has been waiting and waiting to get his motorcycle and we are supposed to sign the paperwork on Friday. I'm going to ask him to call them and see if I can't just sign my portion today. Probably a nutty thing to be concerned about, but it's a huge deal to him and not a whole lot of things are. I really want it to work out for him. Ugh, whatever, things work out how they work out, I'll see what I can do about it, but I won't waste energy worrying about it.

On a brighter note, my upstairs is much more organized now. I have a few more things to do up there but it is much less overwhelming now. Maybe baby is understanding that the space is being made for him/her.

Ugh, like Erin said, I better use how I felt overnight and this morning as a kick in the pants to finish things up. I'm off to do stuff!

: to all who need it.

40 and 4. Not much going on, I did have some stronger contrax during the night when I was naughty and laid on my back, but as soon as I rolled to my sides, the contrax would wimp out. Hubby and i went grocery shopping and then bought ourselves our anniversary presents to ourselves--3 little nesting side tables. We hoped that the walking would help move things along for me as well as some heavier lifting. eh..as per usual...nada.

baby had been quiet these last few days, but today baby has been rather active.

out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out out!

41 weeks today

i've got a midwife appointment today, my husband asked me to see if there's anything else we can do (aside from copious amounts of sex) to get labor started. a (guy) friend is coming to stay with us starting tomorrow and staying 5 days! aaaah, bad timing.

Tons of ELV for you ladies ... Erin, I hope this is it for you!!

40 + 6 today. I have an OB appointment this afternoon. I'm sure he'll want an u/s to see the baby's size. Thank goodness he doesn't like to induce. (He's been my doc before, I'm always late, and my babies are always in the 9-10 pound range. He just likes to keep an eye on things. Whatever. If that makes him happy.)

We're supposed to go to DH's parents house for Christmas this afternoon. We'll see if I'm (emotionally) up to it. We have plans to go walk around the mall & run errands, just to see if it helps get things moving. I've tried relaxation, sex, and pineapple. (And not in that order, LOL.)

I just have to keep telling myself that I will not be pregnant forever.
I will not be pregnant forever.
I will not be pregnant forever.
I will not be pregnant forever.
I will not be pregnant forever.
I will not be pregnant forever.

Happy labor thoughts to everyone!

I'm either 39+6 or 40+2. I woke up early with pms-ish style cramps, but nothing too intense. I walked around a ton yesterday doing some exchanges and returns and browsing the post Christmas sales, and all my body parts held up quite well. People kept on asking me when I'm due, and I got a kick out of saying ever so casually, "Yesterday."
I have a midwife's appointment in a little bit. I'm almost tempted to ask her to check if I'm dilated, but I think I'll wait on that until next week, if it's still relevant. A watched cervix never effaces, right?
I guess I'll head into the office for a few hours as well. There's really nothing left that I need to do around the house, and I don't feel like sitting still.

Bloody show... contractions three minutes apart... I think today's the day.

Feeling great, minus the broken toe. Got my head on a bit more last night, and am once again looking forward for the birth (not just baby.)

At this point, I have a feeling I will be pregnant for another week or so. I can live with that.

Not too many signs.

Everything seems to have slowed down for me. The contractions have spaced out but are still pretty strong when they do come. I have a MW appt this afternoon..we'll see how that goes.

39w3d. Lots of goop, and according to DH's check I'm 100% effaced and dilated to a 3 or a 4. I keep getting contractions, but they don't seem to be getting themselves together to actually DO anything, which is kind of frustrating. I did have a BIG episode of "OMG, is this IT?" prodromal labor last night, but when I laid on my left side and breathed with the contractions they petered out and I just ended up with a nap.

Glad to see that I am not still the only one still left after Christmas. I am 40 w, 4 days today. Feeling glorious with nothing to do as I was sure I would have had the baby already (my son was just over a week early.) So here I am with lots of computer time and still in my pjamas.
Excited for those of you for whom today is the day

41weeks.
Nothing going on again except I ripped an abdominal muscle. Right in my belly button area. It hurts like hell and I'm worried how it will effect labor time. The baby seems quite content in there and I don't think has any plans to come out soon. I, however, am progressively getting filled with more and more anxiety. . . I didn't have any before, just recently.

still.
WOW,this was my exact experience yesterday. But since I am on a bit of a deadline I was pretty grumpy when people would ask. The lady at Target had quite the look on her face when I told her.COme on it is only one day overdue, but Dd was one day before her due date so I haven't experienced this before.
I was supposed to have a midwife appointment today, but my midwife is attending a birth, and I guess all 3 rooms at the birth center are full, so I guess it is a good thing that I am not in labor today.
Only 3 days until my mom leaves..please, please, please baby come soon.....

Good luck DUCETTEMAMA, it sounds like todays your day!!

Okay, baby, change of plans. Do not under any circumstances come out tonight. Sit tight, stay put and I will make it seriously worth your while. Daddy was not able to reschedule his overnight sleep apnea study and he will be out of the house all night long, from 8 pm until 6 am. Granted, we could call and get him to come home, but then we'd have to pay for it and reschedule it and pay for it again. And that's a lot of Saturday morning allowances, capice bebe?
Remember how you did such a great job all day long on Christmas when I told you to stay put and you did? Show mama how well you can behave again.
And baby, that means no more of those crampy feelings, because they're making mama nervous. Just hold off about 15 more hours and then we'll be good to rock and roll. There's a good boy. Sit. Stay. Good boy.
